Coolcap alternative

I was looking at gas caps for my wood bed and saw coolcaps for $60 US. Found this Seachoice deck fill plate that looks identical (except for the logo) except it lists for $38 Canadian. (how much is that?)

Compare the two. What do you think?

38.00 Canada Dollars = 24.9698 United States Dollars

They sure look damn near the same to me as well! I'd go with the cheaper one, but I'm also a cheap bastard...LOL

My Dad is a Boater and got me one for $20 at a boat show. It's stainless too! It's for the '56 though, the Jimmy has a stock bed for now.

Cool Caps

Why don't you check with your local boat supply. That's all it is. Boats use the same kind of caps. They may not have the cool logo's on them but they will be the same. I have a plastic one on my truck that has the vent tube hook up on it. It's got a small button you push and it pops open, nothing fance but it works good, and if I remember right I only gave like $15.00 for it. It's black though. If interestedLMK and I will get a picture of it.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
