Door striker question...
When you close your door, does the mechanism click once or twice? I think it needs to click twice but I can't get mine to hit the second time? Anyone?

depends on how i close it
 if i push it up slow, it does one click, then kinda push it harder and quick to get the second click, or if i close it like normal, one click

If you look at the jaw thats on the door pillar there should be teeth there that would turn the wheel thingy on the door latch to make it click. I think I recall there being two teeth, therefore two clicks. Does your door line up nice the way it closes now?

It lines up nicely. I have new rubber. I can get the first click and maybe half of the second click. I push like a son of a you know what and it goes no further. I've pulled the door hinges out all the way (at the front). The door just doesn't want to close that extra little bit.

You will have to adjust the striker plate on the jam. I had that trouble too, the new door rubber is quite thick, and I adjusted the hinges out to accommidate the door latch, but the only way it would work, the front of the door wasn't tight to the rubber, so I had to adjust the hinges back in and adjust the striker plate. My passenger door worked out great, but the drivers side still takes a good push to close it, couldn't adjust the striker plate out anymore than I did, it takes a little playin around, thats my 2 cents
