Re: Glock's new project: "Fred"
So I finally got around to putting on the new "brushed aluminum" overlay piece on the dash bezel last night. I thought it was going to be a real pain to get the old one off at first, but once I took the gasket scraper to it, it only took about 15 minutes to get the old one scraped off.
Then I cleaned the plastic with rubbing alcohol, then used an adhesion promoter stick before sticking it on. I only had to trim 2 places to get it to fit, but it looks factory now! I forgot to take the camera home last night, so I'll get some pics tonight.

Be careful Bob. The natives get restless if you promise pics, and then don't come through.
