Thanks. It was on the cover of Street Trucks in the August of 2005 issue but I had sold it by then.

Yeah...that other crew cab belongs to a buddy of mine...it has a TPI 350 and 700r4. Could be a nice truck.

On a side note, I just picked up an 87 extended cab that I will get started on next spring as soon as I finish my Tahoe.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Nice. Those extended cabs are making quite the buzz right now. Would be nice to see a nice one here in the Oklahoma area. Make sure and start a build thread in the Projects and Builds section so we can follow the progress of it.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

When I bought it, it was a REAL cab & chassis... meaning- all I got was the cab and the chassis. ALot happened, and to make a long story short, I found myself without wheels, driving the wife's Cavalier. So, I kept the front from a Suburban I was scrapping and the bed from a truck I was also scrapping, parts from a few others... and bam! One ugly truck.

She does have the engine from my big crew project, so when you lift the hood, the clean motor kinda looks out of place. I have to finish wiring it and convert the tanks back to carb pickups, then she's ready to roll. The cab has surprisingly little rust other than the doors, so I'll replace those junk body parts as I go. I sure do like the ugly girl though.

[QUOTE=joe231;3545981]why did you sell???

I had made a business decision that did not work out and needed to get liquid. Fortunately, I do not get attached to vehicles like some people do...they made a few million and I would like to try a bunch of em.

Isn't that what we all say. But we keeped all the trucks we ever owned some of us would need a car lot to store them all. I know i would.LOL Nice crew by the way.

Uh, I'm not seeing the downside to this.
