New to the site and wanted to say hello. I have a few photos below in my sig it's time for paint but need to get the steering shaft figured out first. I have a 73 C-10 sub bolted on the front and a 73 C-10 shortened rear end with a CCP power booster under the cab. I need to figure out how to get the steering done do I run the shaft threw the inter finder and how to make it look clean and safe? Thanks and if you think of something else I'm not with this set up let me Know.

Welcome. Thats the first time I have seen pigtails on the rear brakes.

cut up a piece of 3/4 wooden dowl and see where it looks best. You can used duct tape to simulate a ujoint. If you have more than two joints you will need to put a shaft brace in there some where.

My truck has become her jungle gym I think I need to see pictures of how the shaft would go threw the inter finder. I'm a little nervous because of the custom sprayed lining.

Welcome! I had the same questions on mine. Look at my build thread (linkin sig). Post 120 shows how I ended up doing the shaft, I used the method described above to do determine the angles and if I would need a third joint. 35 degrees is the maximum for each joint. Post 144 shows how I trimmed the inner fender. I just started putting it in place and slowly cut away the interference points. After I had it rough I radiused the corners. When I do the final assembly I am going to use some split 1/4" hose on the bare edges.
