hooked up choke now drunken idle
I had my electric choke connected on my edlebrock and now it has a drunken idle. It runs fine once I hit the gas but at an idle it isn't smooth. The p.o. had the choke wired open, but i am tired of having to warm up my truck in the mornings with my foot so I had it connected when I had a harmonic balancer replaced. It idled fine for a while but now it doesn't idle smoothly like before.

Re: hooked up choke now drunken idle
try adjusting the 2 screws on the front. that'll (should)clean up the idle.

Re: hooked up choke now drunken idle
i always just tune till the engine is smooth. i dont think it matters much if they aint set evenly.
