Question best way to go 4x4

i own a 1965 c 10 and wont to make it a 4x4 on a low budget thinking about a 4 or 6 in lift idk what frame to look into buying or 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton frame?

Frame is basically the same for 1/2's and 3/4's. If you can't find a frame of your vintage, I would try looking at the 73-87 frame. 35"s are fine with 1/2 ton, but 3/4"s would be better if you should ever get the need to go bigger. Trevor

Yea x2. Way easier to go with 3/4 ton the first time around if you think your gonna want it later

Nothing significant.Less than a passenger.The`73-ups are very plentiful.Measure your wheel base and go from there.Is yours long or short?If short and the later are too long,stretching a K/5 frame is another option.
