i finally got my 1979 longbed 3/4 k20 done.

bought the truck for 500$,put some 40$ or so in crap priumer on it,re-did the door panels and dash for 18$ with some weird spatter paint.its really durable actually.(trunk paint)

blocks-20$ from a friend,u-bolts and nuts were free

front springs-330$ new

tires and wheels(35" bfg mud terrains on 16.5 eagle alloys) 200$

all rancho rs-5000 shocks basically new for 20$ from pick your part junkyard! i couldnt believe it!nice seat cover i FOUND in the shed brand new in a box(black vinyl edges with velvet type inserts where you sit, grey.

350 sbc,edelbrock intake,hei,accel super coil,8.5 wires,edelbrock 650,headers,running true duals in cherry bombs(glasspacks).

not bad for having basically 1000$ in eh? hehe

Yea nice score on all the parts, good looking truck as well. Like the lift and tire choice. 4" lift and 35"s look about normal man.

To me it`s perfect. They need 2 more inches to absolutely clear for all off road uses. But,they look best with 35s & 4".Most trucks don`t really see where it matters except a light rub.You can still run tall skinny tires for a tough stock look.
