Vin on a 79?
On a 79 K10 where are the vins? Are there only two, one on the frame rail and one on the door pillar? Or is there a dash vin as well?

There should be a dash vin on the driver's side--about 8" or so from the corner of the windshield.

1979 was the first year with the VIN on the dash, and it was not in the door jamb.

also, in 81 the vin tag moved to the right a few inches
