My solution is not for the faint of heart. Buy the right size Torque Thrust IIs and paint the centers of them grey. I'd be scared myself, but if you have the guts, you'll be a hero.

In my opinion, nothing looks better than the grey centered torque thrusts.

They make the 'grey' center TT's in 18x8 & 18x10 but they are not considered 'standard' sizing.... they're 'custom' according to AR. Go to the american racing website & look around.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Your best bet is to talk to your local A.R. dealer. They will have a hotline number, and can get the answers you want.

I don't know what color your truck is, but here's another option. This is new to the Vintage series of wheels. It's just gettin on the streets, and looks so sweet on the right color. It's not for the conservative though. You gotta step outside the box to own a set of these...

You’re talking about the CL205?
It’s in the "E-SHOP" section of their web site.
They don’t list the 18’s but they have them.
Call Skip at 303-857-9292 (CRE sport marketing) he’ll tell you all abut them.
If you have a NTB in your area they can get them also.
Just tell them to look in the very back of their American Racing book.
Scoring a set of 18 and 20’s for my 77, so I have been reaching them heavily.

They may not show off your detailed calipers, but they would be the shiznits on a white or silver (my vote) truck. Just the thought of that combo makes my willie wiggle...

Contact your local Sears. You'll be suprised......they are the largest AR retailer in the US.

Yep, it's the CL205 you're looking for.

I recently got a set of 18x8 CL205s for my '68 that I still haven't gotten installed yet (doing a lot of other stuff on it at the same time). I got them through www.wheelsforless.com. Here's a pic of one of the wheels:

The guys at American Racing said that they have been slow lately and the delivery time is about 3 weeks.
How long did it take to get your wheels in?

I was quoted 6-8 weeks through wheelsforless.com from the day I ordered. They arrived in three weeks. That was plenty quick for me.
