How much $$$ for air ride?

Im thinking this may be out of my price range, but I may as well ask. How much does a basic air ride kit cost?

$1500 at a bare minimum and that will be a 2 path system with probably 1 compressor and 1 tank.

my current system on my truck is a manual valved 2 way system with one 7 gallon tank, a york compressor (not installed yet) and firestone 224c at all corners... i built my own plates and cups..i have a little over $700 in it...check ebay for stuff..

on my 64 pontiac...most of that stuff is from air ride technologies...with ride pro valves, thomas compressors and such and i've got about $1200-1500 in that one.

Pat, were you wanting to do a 4 or 2 wheel system?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

I did mine for a little over $500...and this was on a 16Yr-old budget I am running firestone bags, airride technologies brackets, 4 SMC 3/8 electric solenoids, 6 gallon tank, Viair 325C compressor. No notch or drop spindles yet. If you buy everything seperatly you can save yourself quite a bit of money. By the way, the 2-path systems work great as long as you have a sway bar on your truck, i've driven mine with no troubles for quite some time with a sway bar in front and a 2-path system.

I think I have a little under $800 in mine too. 2600 Firestones at all 4 corners, 1/2 fill valves, 3/8 SMC dumps, ViAir 450C comp. 5 gallon airride tank, 1/2 push-loc line, it is a 4 way system.

If you check out forums, and ebay, and get components individually, you can get it done for cheap. I got the 1/2 fill valves for $110 shipped cause a guy on S10forum got a set for his birthday and didnt need them. You can always find someone that needs to sell air components cause they need the scratch.
