I've got a Choo Choo Customs seat. They're based in Iowa, where I bought my truck from. Very, very comfy.

MandarinSixSeven, How did you attach the Grand Cherokee seats? Looks like you have the original levers on the base.

I have a stock GM bench, re-covered in black vinyl. It is actually very comfortable...getting a bit sunk in on the driver's side from my fat a$$ though
Makes the truck comfy to ride in on long trips....unless it is hot....my back always gets soaked with sweat b/c the vinyl dosen't breate worth crap.

I plan to just get it re-covered with new foam and a black cloth seat cover eventually. It is just soo comfy and squishy.....not ultra-firm like most seats out of newer vehicles

I love bucket seats but I want to keep my truck as original as possible. To each his own though.

If you have your original bench seat you should definately hold onto it in case you change your mind. Or if you happen to sell it, having the original seat adds to the appeal.

Second-row out of a '99 Suburban. Still tilts forward, too. Nice and comfy.

Edit: And at $150, a lot cheaper than most options!

Until just recently I have had the front power bucket seats of a '02 chevy truck, but just recently sold them for some leather middle bench 40/60 seats out of an '03 suburban. I couldn't stand having only two seats in the cab! They fit perfectly

I got mine from a mid 80's Olds wagon. I forget what the model was. They aren't very big overall, and the seat backs are fairly thin, which leaves plenty of room. I sh!tcanned the headrests because I dont like the looks of them in these trucks. After I experimented with seat location and height I built stands to mount them on. They're real comfortable, especially for freebies. I plan on buying some ready-made covers and tailoring, and re-sewing them to fit a little better than they come out of the box. (el cheapo deluxe)

I wanted to install a set of seats from a newer Chev with the intergrated seatbelts because I don't have the shoulder harness seatbelt as I see in some of the pictures. Has anyone done this swap? What kind of modification did you have to do(ie build brackets etc.)?
I still have the stock seat with the line setting ticket in the springs. wish I could get it out without destroying it worse than it is.

I have put the '02 chevy truck bucket seats in my truck with the console and they fit perfectly. The only thing you have to do is drill 4 holes under each seat then you are going to need to build a small bracket for support under the cab, but that is optional and really easy. I have one complaint about them and that is if you are really tall then there is limited leg room but I am sure that everybody is aware of that becasue all of these cabs are the same. You can also still leave the gas tank for this configuation.

Here's the seats I just installed in the '67. They are from a '72 Chevelle and are very comfortable. I ditched the headrests as I don't care for the look either. All that was needed to install them to the correct height was 2" square tubing. Once I decide on a color for the truck, they will be recovered to match.
