What's a perfect fit front inner fender source?

I THOUGHT I had an original I picked up in a junk yard but noooo.....all I have is the driver's side.

So....what's a good source of a repro passenger side front inner fender? I'm looking for good metal and a perfect fit as I'm not able to rework anything.

Thanks!

You are asking for a an awful lot, considering even GM stuff was never perfect! Lucky for you, Tri-Plus inner fenders are very nice. I didn't even have to die grind a single hole, in a pair of new ones.

Re: What's a perfect fit front inner fender source?

I was NEVER able to find any of these used in the junkyards that were not badly rotted. EVER! But then again, I live in PA.

I installed 2 or 3 pair of repro inners so far and while it took a bit of tweeking, they went in.

I remember having to pry and twist a bit to get all the holes aligned. Do not tighten any of the bolts fully until all are started.

Best tip: on the bottom side, there are a few brackets. Fill the areas in and and around those with seam sealer or you'll end up with rotted repro inners. (ask me how I know)

Re: What's a perfect fit front inner fender source?

Take a look at this thread from a few months ago. I also bought some of these, but won't be installing them for several months. People say they fit pretty good, especially for the price! $120 shipped for both inner fenders is pretty hard to beat, even if the fit isn't perfect.

I don't know of any reproduction inner fenders that don't fit. I have some good OEMs for my all OEM '67 project. But,I sold N.O.S. ones I had for big bucks. What I got for those I could buy three pair of repros.

Yah, I was gonna say- I haven't seen anything on the front clip of these trucks that is a "perfect fit", even the OEM!

Thanks guys,

I might go with this one here, if I don't buy an original from a forum member.
