Rust in upper window seal
I live on a dirt road and once you hit the washboards in the road the truck gets to boncing it starts to rain rust in my lap. I am very sure the rust is mostly because of the water getting under the cab lights. Not a surprise sence I think the truck spent most of its life in Washington. Anyway does any one know what to do once I get around to replacing the window seal. I can't do anything major but I need to stop the rust before the window falls on me.

Re: Rust in upper window seal
The roof drip rail is also a source for leakage also. Once it's rusted it turns into major. You can scape (chip) the putty out of the drip rails and re-putty. And wire brush the winshield lip and coat with a encapsulator then reseal. Or you can do what I did and get 100% pure silicone clear caulk (Home Depot) and seal everything up.
