4x4 Drivetrain/Lift Kit Advice

Quick couple questions. Picked up a slick 71 K10 LW yesterday and was wondering what everyone suggests for lift kits (3"-4"). Secondly, what wheel and tire size/combo. Thinking 35" tires. Lastly, it's going to get a 5.3 fuel injected engine but was wondering what transmission/transfer case combo you guys are running. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Pics please!
Love the k10's lwb when they're lifted with big tires (some SWB k10's look..."stubby"/shortened when the tires get around 36" tall or so)

Re: 4x4 Drivetrain/Lift Kit Advice

Once I get the 67 k10 I'm looking at (lwb btw),
I'm planning;
Complete LT1
4L80e
208 (?) maybe 241 (?) haven't decided on t-case, may just stick with the 205...

Did you know we have an entire area of the board for 4X4 stuff? Its actually a very busy part of the board. Check it out =)

Re: 4x4 Drivetrain/Lift Kit Advice

I've always liked a 4" (springs all around) with 33 x 12.50 x 15's. I will upload a pic of mine for reference. I like some wheel well and some sidewall. 35's usually require some fender trimming or you'll tear it up when you turn while the suspension compresses. It's a sick feeling and sound that makes some wheel well look very good!
