All Block 4" lift for K10...Bad Idea?

Found an all block 4" lift for my 85' K10 for a perfect price...free. I would like some opinions on a few reservations I have. First, I would like to say that I know the BEST way to lift is by using springs. My concern with blocks would be the negative arche front springs. Has anyone ever ran one of these lifts? I would like input good bad or indifferent. I don't go off road with my truck, main concern is safety, drivability. Thanks

You can not use blocks on the front. When you turn your wheel it will cause the blocks to pivot or walk, and due bad things.

The rear does fine, but it is not my favorite way.

Thank you. That's exactly the kind of info I was looking for. Makes me wonder why anyone ever made blocks for the front.

Block lifts in the front are unacceptable and very dangerous.

So we just need to source you a set of springs and a drop pitman arm.

Oh and some 35" Mud Terrains!

If he was closer I have 6 inchers I haven't decided what to do with yet.

I am thinking I will see how I like owning a 4x4 then maybe try them.
