Re: 1988 R30 Crew Soon to be Dropped

Did a little work today, started by removing the running boards and dropping the gas tank. Removed the fuel lines and started on the brake lines to get the inside of the frame cleared out for the 4x3 bracing. The trans crossmember is also in the way mounting inside the frame and being as the drivetrain isn't being reused I moved to the front to get everything out of the way for the engine/trans to come out.

Sorry for the blurry pics, hard to take pics without smearing grease all over my phone.









Was only 98 degrees in the garage due to rain so not as bad as it could be.
