Performance Online Tubular Motor Mounts

Has anyone on here used Performance Online's tubular motor mounts? What was your opinion? Any pics of the install?

I have a set on the bbc, worked perfect. I was straped for cash at the time so I got the rubber mounts. The work but would rather have the poly's. no pis right now. pm your cell # and I'll run out and grab a cell pic if you want. fit perfect the factory frame holes.

Great timing. I just ordered the engine and trans mount kit yesterday. I did order the poly instead of the rubber. The prices on the poly are very reasonable as a kit, I searched the web trying to find a better price on quality poly mounts, no luck. I can't wait to get my motor back and get it in.

I know this is an old thread, but can you tell me what was the advantage of using this tubular motor mounts? I am contemplating buying them for my LS1 swap, they look nice, but not sure if it is worth the extra expense. Do they allow you to use the original exhaust manifolds, or are they used to move the motor further forward or back?

I used them for my LS1 swap. At first, I was going to run Camaro SS manifolds, but went with headers before final installation. The do add much more clearance for manifolds than stock perches and they're supposedly stronger(less flex) than stock.

Wanted to add some pics for reference (396 with Camaro headman headers...1-3/4" primaries). I also wanted to ask if anyone has found an electric fan setup that works with these mounts, big block and short waterpump? I have just under 4" from the waterpump pulley bolts to the 4 core radiator. These mounts pull the motor forward a touch more than the OE big block mounts.
You can see on the passenger side I had to clearance the frame a touch for the header, this was the only mod that I needed. I will also not that these mounts set the engine angle at 6 degrees which presents an issue that I am dealing with now. The best angle I can get with shims under the trans mount is 3 degrees which is great but I now have about 1/8 " clearance between my transmission and the tunnel (low hump).

Mine aren't POL, that's why I didn't answer earlier.
The main disadvantage - cost.
The advantages.... less weight. More room for headers. More strength for engine torque. If you're doing a LS swap, there's really no other option.
