Shorty headers for a lowered c-10???

I am trying to find someone that manufactures shorty headers for a lowered C-10. The key piece of information is that i have OTC Camel Hump Angle plug heads. This makes it hard to find headers designed for this setup.

If you someone that manufactures such headers please message me.

Thank you,
Valentini

Call Sanderson. They make angle port headers for several different cars. You may have to pay a bit more but I'll bet they build a set for you for under 900.

Shorty headers offer No performance advantage over cast iron manifolds. This is a proven fact over the years by testing on dynos. Long tubes only offer performance improvement. You may wish to use manifolds to eliminate the difficulties of headers in light of that... just sayin.

Sanderson CC11 are set up for angle plugs. I'm using them on my ZZ4 350. Pics are worth a thousand words.

Shorty's aren't really necessary. I have long tubes from Doug's and my exhaust is tucked up all the way front to back.

Re: Shorty headers for a lowered c-10???

Guys,

Thanks for all of the replies. I appreciate the info. I will try Sanderson,if i stick with the short style headers. Headman told me they didn't have an shortys that would work with angled plugs.

Thank You,
Valentini

This is my thought too. Any interference issues with CC-11 when installed in the truck?

Was this testing done with the ZZ heads or early model heads? What manifolds are best with the D-port heads? And will they fit in the 67-72 truck?

I don't know the context of his comment but I am wondering if they will fit with no interference. I'm trying to figure out if this is the way I want to go.

You are correct. But with an extra click or two, you can find out how they look installed in my build thread. I've posted several times about these headers, they fit great, even between the rails.

Yes, this engine is using the factory aluminum slant plug heads.
