68 C10 LS Build

OK Guys, I am in the process of my first LS swap. Figured I would jump on the forum wagon and keep you all updated with my progress. This project started out as a dual quad 327, TH350 and is being swapped for a freshly built 2001 Camaro ls1/4l60e. Here are some pics of the progress so far.

I'm planning on a 5.3 swap in my 68.
What did you use for motor mounts?

I used the ones from lsxinnovations.com. I had to move my motor perches back 1" in order for the pan to clear the crossmember. If I ever do it again, I would just go ahead and purchase the dirty dingo sliders. But, mine were only 25 buck on ebay so Im not complaining.

Re: 68 C10 LS Build

You can also use the relocation plates from ICT Billet around 35.00 from summit. bolt them to the block and drop it back in with stock small block mounts .

Thanks. I ordered the LSX Innovation plates the other day. I didn't have any frame mounts, so I ordered these, http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Classi...eOAaAphr8P8HAQ
