There ya go. And you just may be mature enough to keep yourself out of trouble in it, too!

LOL... I was thinking the same thing as I drove it home last night, not sure what the wife would think of that though.

Re: New to the family
Very nice car there.
My wife and I are a bit larger in size and we were offered one of those in V-6 style from a rental car place in NH. We took it and it was fun, but oh it was hard to climb out and get into. Can't tell you how many times we banged our heads dropping into the seats. It was fun, and the car was great, but not one I could have in my stables.

Re: New to the family
Wow Larry!
That's certainly a sweet ride. I hope you got one that has three pedals in it, either way it's still badazz ride. Now i'm guessing next summer you'll make your ride north in a lot less time than usual and probably won't be hauling parts with you either. When I slip into my camaro's seat it feels like I'm sliding into a cock pit made just for me , oh so familar, comfy and feels just rite....that is until I gotta get out Then it's roll my arse out and pick myself up off the ground This past aug. Makes it 26 yrs my first love an I been together, although I only put about 300 mi. On it so far this yr. It's do to come out again in the next week or two. Congrats on your purchase hope you enjoy it.

Re: New to the family
Only 2 pedals, it is actually the wifes ride. 6spd auto, we love it though, a lot different than the 97 or the 79 for sure.

Re: New to the family
Beautiful car. IMO Black is the best color on a car,and it looks great with the stripes. I hope your wife doesn't drive like mine does.
I got her one of these for her car.

Re: New to the family
Good one paul, that is why I must stay out of the drivers seat. My wife now she is a very sensible driver, 45 years old and no tickets as of yet.

Re: New to the family
Friend of mine is looking to buy one next year. We looked at several at the Autofair this year. He has a last generation Comaro but wants a newer one though. Nice ride.

But I do still love to fry the tires. And with the Line Lock's the ZL1 it looks like a blast to drive. I guess I still have a little bit of teenager still left in me. But I know I'd have to put money in the budget for rear tires. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hXCIEwFWAE

Re: New to the family
Well I got some of the F11 topcoat and used on the Camaro today. I tested it on an old car first then attacked the Camaro with it, who in their right mind would detail a car let alone a black one without washing it first ? ME !!! This stuff works like they say it does.

Re: New to the family
It is not cheap but it is worth every penny and goes a long way and you can use it on paint, plastic trim, motor, interior, glass, even works on your stainless appliances. and it does not have all the harsh chemicals most cleaners have in them. I bought three kits which comes to 140.00, that includes three 16 oz. bottles, three 2 oz. travel bottles, and six micro fiber rags.

Re: New to the family
How do you keep a Black car that clean on a dirt road? I have a Black car and a dirt road and it's covered in dust the first time I drive it. I try to drive it slow until I hit pavement, but it really doesn't help.
