Thanks Nate but dad and I got the truck to start a couple of weeks ago. We had to adjust the points first though and I bought a new set of points that I want to put on in the spring.

Thumbs up HEI Upgrade

I understand, hopefully you'll run across a complete HEI from some junked engine out of a Hot Rod project, don't ever pass the opportunity to make proper (IE: none Chinese chrome) improvements .

Once you try HEI (or any other breakerless ignition system) nothing else will ever do .
