Well let’s make it happen! The 2nd “Annual” C/10 Meet! Haha.

You don't want to hang around an extra day just to pick up your sign.

Re: Hot Rod Power Tour 2018

Alright guys, we have discussed some of the details and it looks like this is going to happen. We have created a Facebook Event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/218431142034538/) for those interested in attending. Like Jeff mentioned, everyone is welcome. We can hold up to about 100 trucks so spread the word and invite whoever you would like.

The only piece we are undecided on is what day/time to have it. We want to accommodate everyone and I know some guys will have a long drive home after the ceremony Friday. Is it best to have it Friday after the goodbye ceremony? Or make it an all day thing on Saturday? I know the locals will say Saturday but I am curious if the guys who have a long drive home will typically stay the night Friday night or start the drive back on Friday? Let me know what you guys think, we are pretty flexible.

Andrew is downplaying his dads shop. His dad is a former NASCAR fabricator and total gearhead that builds (and has a field full of) 67-72 chevy's full time. This is a place you want to visit. His name on Instagram is @piedmont_traction1270 I talked to his dad for an hour today and he's drug in some REALLY cool finds at his shop recently.

For the HRPT veterans, what do you do Friday evening after you get in from the tour? Mooresville is close to the track so if you were staying overnight you could get a hotel in Mooresville and hit the road Saturday.

If we did a friday evening dinner cookout at Steve's place, we could do an evening cruise to the Cats Patch "Cruise In" in Troutman afterwards.

Yeah, I text with Geoff periodically...it's mainly me bugging him to sell his Suburban to me! I've asked him about HRPT. He's interested.

That's a good question. I haven't talked to him for awhile. I see him post on Instagram occasionally, but that's about it.

The 64 SS is officially going on the 2018 HRPT!
Unless something happens between now and then!
Have a few small things to fix and get some things in place but it should be a fun week.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

The owner of that Solstice (Chuck Mallet), has had several C10 projects, a couple SEMA show trucks. I'll see if I can get word to him about it.

I'd be up for the last leg, Raleigh-Concord/Mooresville and then a get together.

The 64 SS is not going but I'm still taking a car! I will be rolling in the 56 Bel Air instead.
New third brake light and LED tail lights installed.
