Re: Hijack Thread
After the Lone Ranger saved the day and rode off into the sunset, the grateful citizens would ask, Who was that masked man? Invariably, someone would answer, I don't know, but he left this behind. What did he leave behind?________________.

Re: Hijack Thread
Wow Boog, Google that answer and see what you come up with. It appears some people get pleasure from the silver bullet.

Other Larry said "people" not "guy". This may help with the whole visual thing and all. So Boog, have you looked at every thread on the last page? I stuck my neck out for you and didn't even get a "like"?
Kemosabe means "saggy brush" in Navajo. (Hmmm... back to that silver bullet again) Seems like a weird thing to call your buddy. Prolly has something to do with the Lone Ranger calling him Tonto, which mean stupid in Spanish What year did Ford stop making the Ranger anyway? Did something else take it's place? John S. Wilson Lumber Company's annual vendor show today at Howard County Fairgrounds. Free pencils!!... and food, bluegrass, and beer. Those O'Donnell brothers are fart smellers. They get all their vendors to pay for it for a chance to show their wares. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...GhlKKjzAXlymax They are located along the same road that golf course I just did the water tank house for with the king of micro management with. The fairgrounds are straight across I-70 I-70 always represented my way out of Dodge to great things to the west

Re: Hijack Thread
I hear ya. I was living in Fortuna/Eureka area in 76/77 when things started tightening up. But nobody gives those out any more. I remember lumber yards giving those and pencils away at purchase. Never seen Home Depot hand out a pencil.

Re: Hijack Thread
True story: My son came in to talk to me and my wife one evening. He sits down and says, "Dad, I think I want to be a Ranger." Mom looks at him and says, "But you don't even like camping." She's thinking park ranger. Dad (that's me, 25 year Army veteran) says, "Honey, I don't think he's talking about being a park ranger. He wants to be an Army Ranger."
Mom says, "The Army?!?! That's dangerous!" Father and son are looking on in a mix of amusement and disbelief by now. Anyway, I got to swear him in about a year later. One of the best days of my life.

I went to World of Wheels last year and there was a huge line to see Catherine Bach, had to be at least an hour wait if not more. I go back to World of Wheels again this year and Dawn Wells was there with maybe ten or twelve guys in line to see her. Whodathunkit
