Re: Grizz's Redneck Express 1966 Chevy Short Fleetside RESTO-GO!

The windshield slant is just right.

This is off the wall but back in the 80's I worked at a restoration shop and we painted a 51 Chevy conv. After it was all painted and put back together the owner decided to add all the options for a 51 Chevy one was back up lights. Mounting them on a fresh paint job was not the ideal thing but I was able to get it done without any problems. In your video of the 51 Chevy drift car I notice it had the optional back up lights missing the lens. It brought back a lot of memories working on that car.

Thanks Vince.

Yes, I think the slant and possibly shortening it, works.

Regarding the 51 video, it is a good looking car, and the video made me want one so bad.

I love all those Shoebox era cars tbh.

Re: Grizz's Redneck Express 1966 Chevy Short Fleetside RESTO-GO!

2020........

What a year.

But, looking at the same time in 2010, so many things have changed at the garage and carport.

Found these pics while looking for something else.

To where it is now.

Change certainly is constant.

Life is good.
