High hump AT shifters

I am installing a LS3 with 6L80 (6sp auto) in a 70 c10 short.

I would like shifter brand/options/length recommendations or things to avoid.
Should I choose a cable type?

I would also like to see pics of where you put your shifter on a high hump with bench seat.

Thanks!

Re: High hump AT shifters

No pics but on my LS1/4L60E swap with a high hump I used a Lokar shifter. I used the type that has the direct rod to the shifter lever. It worked well. I've also used the Lokar with the cable to the shift lever. Again worked well. The direct rod type is a bit less expensive. Has a built in NSS.
