Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I really like that srw truck 72Super. there's one just like it near me only with a Warn Enforcer bumper on the front. Looks wicked mean. Just put a 4 inch lift in mine but I dont think the front springs are HD enough for the big block. Not sure what to do, it isn't tall enough in the front, the rear sits high, but I want to pull a couple rear leafs because it's got too many and rides like a freight train.

Thanks man, I couldnt agree more I dont have any real information about the paint though, sorry. All I know is that it was painted by Jamie at Lost River Auto Body, out of Arco, ID. I dont know what exact colors or kind of paint he used.
I do know my dad's pretty excited about it though, lol. He's had Big Blue for a lot of years, it's an awesome work truck, and it's part of the family.
He's been wanting to paint it for a long time, just never had the money. He took out a deer with it last fall, and somehow managed to get enough from insurance to afford a complete makeover! After all these years, it definitely deserved a fresh paint job!!

Before and after...

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I love the maroon one with the cap. I want to put a cap like that on mine, even though I have no need for it and would have to take it off in the winter to haul palletized wood pellets. It's just a cool looking accessory and about the only truck accessory I've yet to own.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

That's pretty sweet looking, TacoZilla. Is it shortened or just the camera angle making it look that way?
