Did some plumbing work, need to cut down and retap thru frame fittings to get tighter to frame.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN

Well this mourning started well. I seized a tap in my thru-frame brake fitting. I wanted to tap it deeper, didn't like the 5 turns in and more threads showing then turned in.

So new mato When dealing with stainless is "be as slow as a turtle". Lots of lube, I heared that somewhere before.

Did some brake stuff. Got the Harley Davidson banjo fittings on to the master cylinder And tighten up the lines to the frame around the shockwaves.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN

This MC is in alot of models corvette included from @ 2002 to now. That is one of the reasons I went for it, plus it was 120.00 with the hydro boost.

That's lots of plumbing. It takes a while but looks good when it's done.

Re: 1959 Fleetside REBORN

OK guys I owe you some pics of the body work. But the past weekend and week, we are trying to start the motor after 3 years of sitting. Prelubed the engine and started the wiring and placed the cab back on the chassis. To start the cab wiring and cutoff switches and ignition switch. fuel pump, transmission filled and connected and torqued. Drive shaft in!

How do I post a short video?(in detail!)
