Truck looks like a work horse! Is there any lift on it or is it all stock? What size wheels and tires? Looks good man!

Thanks, it's actually still stock suspension, 3 leafs in front and 9 in back. I suspect it has an add-a-leaf. I'm not sure how many leafs came in the stock rear spring packs. The rims are the stock 16" wheels with old-school 7.5"x31" mud/snow tires. Better tires are next on my list. I've seen some great info. on this site and am taking recommendations for what size, brand and load range others suggest. (350/400/4:10s)

They look good in the truck. However the seat bottom is too high for my liking. My crotch hits the steering wheel and my head is an inch from the top of the roof. I may see if I can cut the frame up to try to lower them, otherwise I'm goin to look for another set of seats.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I thought that white truck look familiar too, but the pictures of the one I remember doesn't har a cowl induction hood and had a full gray interior in it. That is a sweet truck tho! I'd own it.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Thought the truck had 4 pedals at first, but it must be a reflection? I put newer seats in my crew as well and if you dont lower the floor the seats sit just a little to high. but that truck is sick non the less

That is cool! Looks like the T-case shifter might be a pain to get to tho.

It's not as bad as you would think, can easily reach it from the drivers seat.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

This what I've always wanted to build, minus the fact that it's the newer body lines. I prefer the look of the pre-'81 body. And I wish it was two tone. But it's a project. I couldn't build the truck for what I payed for it. Gonna tweak it and finish it the way I like.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I purchased a 4" lift for mine and am going to run 285/70's most of the time on some 16x8 white spokes. I will be getting some 33x12.50 swampers for it to where occasionally as well. There are guys running the 285's with no lift though.
