Thanks guys, I was really concerned, during the vote, if I would win or not.

Thanks!! I really appreciate the comments.

Last week I finally got the wipers on. The new blades and arms from classic industries didn't work together. They wouldn't stay locked together. I ended up using the old blade assy's and got some new 13" blades and swapped the inserts. The blades from Classic industries were shorter so I couldn't even use anything from those. Not really satisfied, but they're on.

I've already got the system. It's pretty much wired, just need to run the lines.

Found another project.

Wait for it

Wait for it.

HAHA its a 49 Willys chassis. (That's what I was told) I couldn't pass it up. Maybe make a yard buggy or try to sell. The motor is locked.

If your courious about the C10, its been like this for 2-3 years. It's a coworkers.

Thanks!! i appreciate it.

I guess y'all thought I feel off the map. You couldn't be so lucky. I've been tinkering with a few things. The latest that is picture worthy is the duct work for the Vinatge Air and stereo.

I need to get some more hose and a "Y" for the dash vents. Only 3 outlets on the unit and I have 4 vents.

I got the radio powered up and that is it. No speakers hooked up. Trying to figure out how to fit a 10" sub behind the seats. The box it's in now is too big. I found one on EBAY that might work. Also some 6X9's behind the seat. I'll build some kick panel pods after the AC lines are ran. The other thing is where will I put the AMP. I've got 2 ideas.

Cleaning her up for her first parade. If your in the local area and have a classic and want to be in a parade come at 9:00 to the old elementary school in Ball Ground. The Ball Ground Heritage Days starts at 10:00. Crafts, food, live music in a small town.

I drove to get some gas in and it should have taken 20 minutes. It ended up taking nearly 2 hours with people stopping and talking about it.

Re: Project Vitamin C-10

Made it thru it's first parade. My radiator cap isn't holding any pressure. I need to try another one. I think I damaged it installing the billet aluminum cover.

Also found these pics in the History building for Cherokee County. Ingram Truck Body is still around today here in town.

It was fun. I realy enjoyed it. Temp gauge is still scarry. It gets up to 7/8 of the way to Hot. With a lazer temp gauge all over the block it's 180 on the intake, 210 on the oil pan, 170 on one radiator hose and 155 on the other. It's either the gauge or sending unit.

Looking forward to the next one.

I figured I'd blow the dust off this thread and bring it back up.

There is a possibility I might get to enter it in a local car show. Jasper Jeep is putting it on this weekend and isn't far from the house.

Since I can't afford a steering wheel yet, I thought I needed to do something. i had an old wheel laying around. I did a Po Boys rebuild on it, which included a scotch brite pad and silver/black rattle can. The horn button was pitted so I sprayed under coating on it and taped off the bowtie. It's a lot better than the nasty wheel I had on it. Maybe it will buy me some time til I get a really nice one.

gotta be relieving to know what the actual temps are...would still make a man nervous though, as you mentioned....i like what you did with the steering wheel...that's a good temporary fix...now, go out and win your first car show

I think those are the most beautiful words I have ever read on this site!

100 of the most well earned miles I can think of.
That is awesome Alan.
