I would check out how a gemstone is polished. His work is fabulous isn't it!!

You are the god of sheet metal finishing..... we are not worthy! How do you keep from warping the panel when you grind / finish the welds. Any help will be sincerely appreciated.

Heath, not to worry. I think they should put lots of pics of their work on the www for the whole world to see like I do. Anyone can weld up a panel then smear bondo over it, that takes no skill, or very little. I challenge anyone to show me up. When they do I will bow down then get back to work to get better. Thats all I'm going to say about that.

As for metal finishing a joined panel, most of the skill is in the welding. You have to be able to control the metal movement. Grinding is easy, just take time and go slow and grind in steps til a smooth finish is achieved.

That's some really nice work metal finishing those MIG welds. MIG welds are a beast to metal finish.

Have you thought of using a TIG? Keep the pictures coming...Eric
