Have you ever looked at a suburban that was cut down to make a crew cab? when you cut a suburban down the roof line doesn't look right. It looks like it's a little higher. It just doesn't look right. If your gonna do that much work anyways don't cut up a perfectly good suburban. I would use two cabs or try and get lucky and find one

why people spend 30 and 40k on a new truck blows my mind. for 1/2 that you could build a truck like these, rineo line every thing but the paint. but all the comfort stuff on it. cummis diesel, hell anything you want. still be cheaper, last longer, more class, and heck its a 67-72!

Re: 72 dually conversion

Somebody with the talent probably graft the skin of the older truck to a newer one.

here is another thread:

Re: 72 dually conversion

There was a 1967 dually used in one of the fast and furious movies.

Re: 72 dually conversion

Use a c&c rear end and widen the inner tubs to make a dually with stock bedsides. Widen the inner tubs, its been done before. I don't know how to find it but there was a guy that built a '67 133'' wb with a longhorn bed and widened inners and it looked sweet. Everything tucks underneath and it looks awesome. Its dark blue if anyone remembers, and it had a 327 4 speed and 4.57 gears. It was a low mileage truck too.
