Great looking GMC SQUARE to start with, I certainly want to see your results. I just wanted to mention that during my build on my 86 Chev I had the back cab trim re-annodized because it had some scratches and blems on it and it turned out as good as NOS. Wasn't cheap but I think cheaper than some of these ridicules NOS prices.

I've been around long enough to remember your last build. Nice to see another one of your seemingly unlimited budget builds.

I think I have a couple of gas gauges laying around that you can have, but sounds like you have it covered by now. If you still need one let me know and I will dig through my box of truck junk and find it.

Yeah, the 77 build did get a little off the budget build agenda. Ok, a LOT over budget, but the end result was worth it.

The Sierra build will be more about refining what has already been done. There has been a lot of the expensive items already done. I just want to enhance them by adding some fresh detail.

I appreciate your offer, but I "think" I have the gas gauge issue resolved. Maybe.....

Jeff I appreciate the offer. I could kick myself for not taking the cluster that I got the spare needle from, and use that gas gauge. Hopefully I can use the spare gauge I have coming to determine why I am getting flaky readings. Once thats resolved I can put the spare needles being sent on the correct gauge and get everything back in my dash.

Oh….silly me. I figured N2trux locked his thread in the Builds and Projects area by using his Admin superpowers to prevent the thread from being highjacked and sidetracked like everybody else’s build threads. If that the reason, the locking ability should be open to everybody where the thread creator can lock their own threads.
