Hey Rocknrod, just wondering if the Honda weatherstrip arrived yet. Anxious to know your thoughts on the fit.

Yes it arrived. I used it, didn't like it and removed it. What would be perfect but unobtainable is seal trim with a 3/8 grip and a 3/8" bulb or smaller. I forced some 3/8 bulb with 1/4 grip on there and it works better on mine. Go figure.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

My truck is 57 years young (built last half of June 64). In a few days it's my birthday and I was born in 57.
My wheels are to be here two Wed and two Thurs, Friday it's a trip to the tire store.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

Did you guys know that advertised tire section width and actual tire section width have nothing in common?

I definitely know it varies.

Sounds like there is/was an issue of sizing? Do tell....

[QUOTE=The Rocknrod;8939224]Did you guys know that advertised tire section width and actual tire section width have nothing in common?[Yes, and isn’t that a bunch of bs, they should be able to make what is advertised, whenever I narrow a rearend, I always make it 1/2” narrower than needed to make up for these inconsistencies by the tire manufacturers

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

The tires I had for the rear were not the section width they advertised so I had to have them get me new ones (no cost to me). Those won 't be in until the 10th.

Re: New 64 Stepper Project

I think the front wheels give me some cushion (what I wanted) and arent too big when you see the side view.
