Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

Back when scrap was at $200 a ton someone could strip the thing of good parts and still get $600+ in scrap.
I posted it here too:

Spotted this 63 short step in Milledgeville today. Inline 6, radio delete, standard heater, and an older restoration

Trying to buy this poor jalopy.. Found it several years ago.. Rougher than a Tijuana night in jail.. Put a battery in it and made it spin but didn't start..

Your idea of 'a lot of rust' is quite different than mine.. That thing looks great.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

Saw this guy on my way home from work today. Nice truck but kind of driving like a jerk
Really makes me want a fleetside instead of a stepside. A big back window would be nice also.

He has a sign on the side of his door. Best to drive nice to make a good impression.
.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

It doesn’t look like it’s the original bed either. I assumed that the sign on the door was old and not for his business. He was pulling out of the Warner Brothers Studio lot that they always show in the movies.

Re: 60-66 Chevy Truck spotters thread.

I've seen the green one several times over the past couple weeks at a shop near my office.

Saw the red and yellow one at a junkyard on Saturday. I grabbed some parts off of it of course
