Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: What's the other half driving?

My better half rolls in a 98 accord, 4-banger auto. It's really a fairly nice car, and very relia...............................................

Oh, sorry -- I dozed off for a minute there.

But seriously, it's got over 150k (she got it with 50k) and other than a scheduled timing belt replacement, it's needed nothing but fresh 5w-30. The only real quality issue is with the clear coat, which has been coming off for a few years now, like most of the dark-colored accords from 98-02. BarryB, has yours been as good to you?

Re: What's the other half driving?

Wife had been wanting one of these for a couple of years. Since 2010 was the last year they were being made I surprised her one day last August when she came home to find this with a bow on it parked in the shed. Made her smile. She didn't have a clue this was coming. It's even in her choice of color, not mine. :

Who knows? Maybe when this one is wore out and she wants something new, this one could become a project like the one I saw here:

Re: What's the other half driving?

My current GF drivers a 2007 Pontiac G6 with 60,000 miles. It's a huge pile of crap. Every MIL that can light up is on. The moon roof button has popped out 3 or 4 times. It gets terrible mileage (for a 4cyl thats smaller than an older Dodge Neon) it gets 18-20 in town. It's slow, the seats are uncomfortable the steering is about as numb as a damn tractor.

Needless to say we take my K10 when we go somewhere around town (Which she likes. )

EDIT: With junk like this car, I can see why Europeans do not like GM products.

Re: What's the other half driving?

08 Acadia, just picked it up after she rolled her 04 Trailblazer. I HATED that Trailblazer with a passion and would never drive or ride in it unless I had to. The Acadia on the other hand I love so I even drive it when I can and keep miles off my toys.

Not gonna lie...that's actually pretty good looking.

one of my ex-girlfriends mom's had a PT cruiser. It's a pretty nice vehicle on the inside but the outside always reminded me of a hearse

Yes, even I admit it is "different". It does kinda grow on ya and I like the styling of the fender lines. Would have been nicer if Chrysler would have gone old-school with round headlights on it though, in my opinion only. Wife has back problems so this is easier for her to get in and out of than her former Saturn. Now I find myslef pondering how to modify that 3-door coupe since it's now my DD.

Anyway, not to hijack the thread but here is a pic of the rear of that PT truck. Admit the owner did the custom the right way and it's not cobbled together. Found it on a PT forum once I got the wife's.

Wish they/Chrysler did make one of these...I'd entertain looking at it for a DD small truck. Meanwhile I will count the years on the wife's until she tires of it. Then we will see.

Re: What's the other half driving?

My wife currently drives a 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee. She want's a minivan though, then I'll end up in the jeep and she'll probably be in a Town & Country.

01 acura tl. with the news of twins, we are gonna get rid of it for an mdx, i think an 01 as well. good thing too since she refuses to listen to me about the factory maintenance. what's funny is my 01 tahoe is worth more than her 01 acura, and her's has more options. highest resale value my a$$
