Wow, that is one sharp looking truck when you get it out in the daylight. It's time to put some miles on it and get it dialed in perfect before the wedding. I do like that shade of red.

i love your truck, and yes the trade off rain VS heat, vs heat and tornados, living in Phx we have the heat but i miss the PNW and yes if it's raining you can work in your garage, try that in phx when it's a 118 and a 130 in the garage. anyway keep at it and you will be driving it soon.

Alright everybody.............wish me good luck. Tomorrow (Wednesday), I will be driving my 57' approximately 80 miles north to reach the wedding venue. I must also commute across a ferry to make it there along the route. Crossing my fingers that nothing mechanical wants to put a stop to my recent road-worthy pickup. I plan to leave tomorrow evening and beat all the "daytime" traffic. I just got an alignment done today on the pickup. She's all ready to go and just waiting for her co-staring role in the wedding. Heck, even our cake person constructed a 57' Chevy pickup edible model for the groomsmen to eat!!!!

I'll snap some photos to share on here once I get back.

Thank you for the "stand-by help" offer. I successfully made the trip last night in the 57'. Truck ran good at highway speed. Lots of lookers while waiting in the ferry lines. Saturday is the big day.

Good to hear! Our wedding was 2 weekends ago, turns out it takes about 9 days for the ring to stop feeling like a loose band aide! Lol

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
