The two pictures that I posted show the only 3 67-72 that I have seen thus far. There are numerous late 70s and early to mid 80s models and just a couple pre 67 models. The vast majority is indy, nascar, and other various racing models. Here are a few more pics.

This is just what is on the surface. As they go through them and find more, ill post pics.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Those are cool racing models. The Nascar kits are from the last of the real stock cars,IMO.It`s typical for a collector to have overlooked the truck kits. They were less exciting than hot rods, muscle, and race cars. That and the fact that trucks have become way more popular makes truck kits some of the more expensive collector kits to buy.
This thread has so many pages now it`s an aweful lot to look through.I posted my display earlier, but here it is again:

I`d pay serious money for this kit. It`s a variant of the`69 kit that you never see:

Here`s a more current picture with a couple more 67/72s added:

I`ve had that kit since back then.My 31 year old son never built it.Do you remember the motorized toy?It was a nice looking replica that can with a functioning pulling sled.I got him that, but it`s long gone.I took him and his cousin to see the real deal, too.Man that thing had the gnarliest idle.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

I look around in here a bit but seldom post since I have little to add(I know I always hav something to say)just haven't done models in years and have very few die cast compared to most of you.Anyway since I've been laid up I pulled acouple of old model kits out of storage to kind of have something different to do.(you can only read so many new posts a day, read so many books and avoid Okra for so long then ya gotta do something).Anyway I was brousing the web for model tips and ran across this.I thought i would share

http://www.modelroundup.com/mrcategory1032.htm

Scroll down to the 70's part of the list.I know many would like o do a Blazer and thought they had discontinued the kit.I haven't ordered one yet and doubt my modeling skills will stand up to the members here,so I'm waiting to see if any of you build a cool cruiser from this kit.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

Right here! You have come to the right place. I would wait until Charlotte. There will be all kinds of die cast there or at least in the past there has been. I'm planning on buying some there I hope.
Look through these pages and I have some stuff for sale or trade. What size do you want? 1:25, 1:64 hotwheels size, 1:18 there are a bunch of sizes you just have to look.
E-bay is a good place to search also.

Andy...you are all over this board man!!!....I REALLY like the one 'tnblazerk5' has on post #3 4th pic down.....made by johnny lightning (i think)...I think it orange and looks just like my truck!!!!
I have looked a little at the Auto Fair, but never EVER see 67/68 diecast there...I like the bigger ones, I'm a rookie at this so I think that's 1:25??
I'll peruse the 40 something pages over the next couple days unless you can direct me to some....Thanks for the help Andy!

OH...funny story...my Mom was so excited that I was finishing my truck last Christmas she got me a diecast...it was a white 1956 Ford F-100...she wrote a note saying "oops this was suppose to be a Chevy"...me and my Dad got a good kick out of it!!!
