Everything under my old factory carpet looked brand new. I think it's keeping the new carpet from being snug in some places.

Yeah I did. I like the padding. Thought about pulling it all up before and rolling sound matt down but wasn't to worried about it. Aka cheap. Spray adhesive helped alot in the install. Don't spray to much though.

Re: Let's see some interior pics of 73 to 87's?

Put this in over the weekend, not sure if it'll stay in or not. It's a Suburban seat, I bent the rear tabs to make it fit. I also have the seat that was already in it, it's a reddish color, in good shape and it folds forward. It had a horrible looking blanket over it so I was assuming it was beat to hell, turns out it's in excellent shape (no holes).

Yes I used LED's. I first got a set of courtesy lights from LMC and added it to the one I had, this gave me 3. Then I used LED bulbs I got from O'Reilys. The led bow tie door threshold came from LMC also.

Re: Let's see some interior pics of 73 to 87's?

Here's my Chevy '79 K20. The interior is mix-n-match of other trucks:
  • cab interior is original blue and white
  • dash is from mid-80's GMC
  • dash pad is from another truck
  • doors are from a '91 Suburban
  • seat and floor mat is from a mid-70's Chevy
  • visors are from other trucks (different colors)
  • glove box door is from another truck (came with the truck from PO)
Gotta love salvage yards.

Anyone bought from Classic Truck Seats? I have been trying to reach them but no responses... not sure they are still in business or want to sell anything if they are....

Here is a pic of mine. I actually posted these for TOTM but there are a bunch of REALLY nice interiors from 68-72 pickups in the running.
