Need help finding parts!

I'm needing parts for my 1968 GMC burban. I'm having trouble finding all of the weather stripping and window rubber and few other misc parts for suburbans. Does anybody have any good places to order this stuff?

Re: Need help finding parts!

I'm sure you'll be told to check with the suppliers listed in ads on this forum since they help to support the forum. I do agree with that thought. I haven't had the time or money to go looking for these parts with these suppliers myself (and I need most of them as well). But I do have some print catalogs from several suppliers that carry the parts you're after. LMCTruck is a source I've used for small parts in the past. They have almost everything for our trucks, good service, and decent quality parts. I also like the diagrams in their print catalogs. Every part is labeled, and they have good notes about what years/models/options the specific parts fit.
Again, check out some of the suppliers that advertise here. There's a bunch of them, and you're sure to find the parts you need.

Welcome to the board. You might try the Suburban parts board too, if you are looking for any used parts..

I don't know if you are familiar with the Forum Jump box or not. Scroll down to the bottom of this page and you will see the "Forum Jump" box. Click on the little down arrow on the right side of the box. In the window that pops up scroll down to Blazer and Suburban Stuff section and click on it.

Re: Need help finding parts!

Click here ... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showgroups.php ... scroll down to gold vendors and I believe there is also a platinum vendor list.

These guys all pay to be able to sell their wares. They are monitored to be sure they are quality guys with good reps.

I use Classic Heartbeat (so do a lot of other burb and panel guys) to get a lot of my parts. I also use PICKMUP too, he has also taken very good care of me.

Here is the vendor review area ... http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...play.php?f=238 ... This also includes regular members that are subscribers to the board. These are people that you see have their board names in blue. With the subscription it allows you to sell parts on the parts board. The site does everything it can to make sure bad deals dont happen, but bad apples do get through now and then. You can read the reviews to see how it is handled.
