Black and looks awesome! Your shop is looking empty, maybe I need to drop my swb off for you to get some body work done since you get it done so fast.

On the paint, 2 words. Big Pimpin!

On the trim, I think it'd look good either way. But I think the gold would make your colors pop.

Thanks Ryan. I like the black, my boss is pushing the gold and he is normally right on color choices.

I'd rock the gold. If you really want to pop, throw some gold rims on it to match.

Are the mirrors getting paint or stay black? I would keep the black trim if the mirrors are staying black.

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"

Did you say you got all new trim from LMC? Even the trim for the Dually fenders and the back doors? I have looked in the catalog and all I see is a standard cab longbed, no crewcab and definately no Dually. I am planning on adapting this trim to my 87. I'd rather be able to find it new or nos, but I need it regardless.

The dually fender trim I already had. The rear doors you have to buy them for a suburban.

the bedside trim I bought swb trim and am going to cut it to fit.

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"

Ok guys here's a couple of new pics.

I got the flip done on the rear. It still has the drop shackles, that need to come off. It's sitting on the frame. The pics has a jack under the back up about 2". I still need to do the c-notch also.

Looks sweet!

Are those the size tires you're going to run on the front or are you going to go a little shorter?

I have extra set of left side. They will take some work to make nice. The ones I am using on the right side were the same way. I sanded them with 36me on a block and then 80good on up till they were smooth. Then I will clear them with clear with flattening agent in it to get a semigloss finish.

Re: crew cab short bed build " clifford"

I finished the flip and got the cnotch in today.
Tomorrow i am going to get the dash painted and then get the body work done on the last door. I hope to have the right doors ready for paint by next weekend. Then i will only like the hood and tailgate.
