Will 15x8s fit all the way around?

Have a stock 67 c10 setup, drums, nothing changed. Will 15x8s fit the front and back with no issues? I will probably be running 275/60R15 tires all the way around as well. Thanks.

Pretty much stock size wheels think you will be fine. Are you lowered?

Not lowered yet, but do have a 2" front, 4" back lowering springs that will be going on the truck. Will that cause issue with the wheels/tires?

Re: Will 15x8s fit all the way around?

Think you will be fine have you got the tyres already? One thing to think about if you install wide tyres on a run at the front with a high sidewall the tyre rolls on the rim in corners. I made this mistake but on a 7 inch rim on the front. Just something else to think about if you haven't already

275/60R15 is a great size for a 15x8. I run that on the rear of my musclecar. Not sure if it will fit on the front of the C10 though.

15x8 on the front with 2"lowering spindle you will have to trim the lower control arms a bit

15x8 all the way around with 255/70-15 tires. Four inch drop in the rear and 2-1/2” drop spindles in the front. No trimming of anything required. A slightly wider tire wouldn’t be an issue that I could see.

Re: Will 15x8s fit all the way around?

I have a '67 K/10 Suburban. It had 15 x 8 rims with 33x12.50x15 tires on it. Tires were fine.
When I tried the 15 x 10 rims [and 33x12.50x15] from my [then grounded] '71 GMC Jimmy, I had turning problems with the front end. Had to switch back.

Most will fit fine, but, what's the back spacing on the wheel?

Simple answer yes I did in the past. No issues. Preferred 255 in front

Re: Will 15x8s fit all the way around?

I have 15" x 8" truck rallies on my '69 GMC. Tire size is 255/70/R15 BF Goodrich Radial TAs. Stock suspension with new springs & shocks. I have no issues with clearance front or rear and lock to lock. I almost wish I had gone wider & taller because there is plenty of room.

Re: Will 15x8s fit all the way around?

I must be the odd man out here. My 69 is around 2" lower than stock in the front. Tires are 255-70x15 on 8" rally wheels. I had an issue with the front tires barely rubbing the bolts that attach the inner fenders to the fender lips. (Mostly on fast turns with bumps in the road.) Ended up replacing the top ones with button head bolts. Problem solved. Spindles and rotors are from an 85 C10, so it's possible they stick out a little more than stock.
