Need big time help with part.

I am looking for a part number or what this part is called so that I can buy one. I was coming home yesterday and in rush hour this part failed. It is the square part with the round rod coming off it in the picture. I tried to kinda zoom in on it. Please help me find this part.

Thanks for all the great help. This is why I love this place. I scoured lmc and just couldn't come up with the assembly pictures that you found. Thanks again everyone.

Re: Need big time help with part.

I just ordered the parts. Hopefully it gets here soon enough. I'm tired of getting taken to work in a Prius.

Just think, in the past couple days you saved our planet ten billion trillions of a one millisecond. Thank you.

I have no scientific evidence to back up my claim.

Yep! I only drive 6 minutes to work and she drive like 8 minutes, so we don't use much fuel anyways. We have four dogs, a Great Dane, Flat Coated Retriever, Standard Poodle, and Golden Retriever so the Prius doesn't work to take the dogs anywhere.
