NASA corbin pliers
I decided to get some corbin clamps for my heater hoses, so I had a good excuse to get some corbin pliers. I was looking for this style with the loop lock mechanism and ran across this on eBay. I kind of like it. Also got an old Blue Bird battery terminal spreader.

Re: NASA corbin pliers
Just wait until the clamp pops out of those pliers! The thing will be in orbit instead of under something that you can't reach behind.

Re: NASA corbin pliers
I'm using the corbin clamp pliers that have a lock on the handle. Why, why the lock?

Re: NASA corbin pliers
I'll be the first forum member with a truck part in orbit! I guess I better wear face protection when using this thing.
I saw a youtube video of a guy installing some corbin clamps. Using the lock it was possible to get the clamp set up and ready to install, and could maneuver it into place with fingertips. Plus I just like the style of that loop lock mechanism. |
