project teacher

1970 c10 swb found at the school's bus barn i use to work at. They bought it brand new and im the second owner. So far i got the frame powdercoated semi gloss, the rear end is being rebuilt with 4.56 gears, gas tank has been ordered from aluminum cell guy, should be ready in 3 weeks, and i've already installed the rear air ride technology kit. I will keep you posted on the progress!

How was the install on the air ride. I plan on getting the full kit for my 70 later down the road. Whats your plan for the front suspension? subscribed

Re: project teacher

The project name is because im a teacher, but the other reason is cause my dad is helping me. The air ride technology system was very easy to install, even thought this is my first build. My father did the cutting and then I drilled some holes and then it just slides on. The front will be completed with air ride technologies a-arm and bag setup. This will be ordered when i get my tank and rear end back. I will get some pic from when i first got it to now.

Great build Gary. Nice to see a colleague who shares the same passion we do for these trucks. I'm liking the air ride set up.

Re: project teacher

Its taken a while to get the pictures off an old computer but i got it done. Since the last post i went to the good guy show at Texas Motor Speedway and left with receipts. Early next week i should have ART A-ARM and compressor kit to complete my suspension. This is how i got the truck from my old school.
