79 k10 front leveling kit?

I would like to level the front end of my 79 k10. I don't want a full lift kit, just lift the front a little. I can't find any kits for this, any ideas? Thanks.

You can have your front springs rebuilt and they can add an inch to your stockers or you can buy new 2" springs. Should be pretty cheap. It'll allow you to run 33's without stuffing them when you articulate your suspension.

You can bolt one of these on the front spring pack and gain an inch.
zero rates

Re: 79 k10 front leveling kit?

"Leveling kit" is an independent suspension term, since those are generally lifted by "spacers". Zero rates act as spaces on leaf springs. I've gone to my local spring shop for all my spring alterations for decades. They could give you an inch or two for about what shipping custom springs would cost. There's no magic in leaf springs, they're about as simple as it gets and any professional spring shop can give you what you need. Personally,I don't like ass-end high 4wds. The ride is way better when level or even the front about an inch high. I bought a '90 Blazer new and took it to my spring guy in it's first year. I didn't want any lift, just wanted the front end an inch or two up so the rear wasn't throwing the truck around. I ran 10" wheels with 12.50/33s with no problem and had a very good riding & handling family vehicle
