What you are asking for doesn't exist. Rust free will be far from cheap, and rust free is virtually non existent.

The thing is if the cab is rust free the rest of the truck will be too and it probably won't be parted. You might find one that someone has finished the body work on and decided to part out the project.

The days of $400 rust free cabs ended about 25-30 years ago. It's going to be about 10 times that today.

Thanks and I mean I've found some for close to 700 just wondering if there was a better way like go out to a junkyard and search until I find it just because that's what my long time body shop guy that also does restoration said he does and works out pretty good for him. The majority of my cab isn't bad just the roof and doors but I figured I might as well replace the entire thing

If the roof is the only part that's bad you might give some thought to just replacing that.
My truck "Meet Homer" had a giant hole in the roof and back of cab you could walk through into the motor home. I found another cab for $100 that had a perfect top and cab back. Cut both off in one day and dropped the new one in place with tacks only. The next day welded it up. Of course my bodyman had to "give those areas some love" to make it all pretty. All told it was about 10 hours work.
Here's a couple pics.
Last pic shows I left the door latch pillar in place on the drivers side as that's where the vin is. Didn't want to mess with that.
Just a thought you might want to consider.

Ok that's some good advice but I just don't kno for sure how far the rust has spread

Where is the cheap rust free cab? In your dreams!1 No really though if your roof is rusted out but the bottom half is in pretty good shape, put a clip on it ask your body man about clips he can tell you it is probably the way to go. Jim
