vintage air problem...do you have it?

i have a well insulated 72 suburban with a new vintage air system....it cools great but the heat doesnt seem to reach the floor or my feet like the original. it puts plenty of heat up behind the dash....does anyone else have this problem?

Is you VA Kit the cable operated one or the servo one. I have a cable one. and had that happen once. the cable fell off of the arm that opens the floor vent.
Is there any air blowing out anywhere? Is it hot? Make sure the heater valve is opening.
