Rims And Tires

I am thinking about torq thrust II rims in 17x9.5 on the rearand 17x8 on the front (not sure what the backspacing should be on the front or the rear). What is the biggest tire I can run on the rear without scrubbing? Any help. Thanks

Sizes & b.spacing req's will vary w/body style. Is it a step-side or fleet-side?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

I've seen 295's on 15" rims, when you get up to 17-20's most i've heard of is 285's.

I have 295/50/15s on my truck now on 15x10" wheels. I measured the width of the tire and it was about 13" at it's widest point. I then measured the tires I had on my car (315/35/17 Nitto DR) and it was like 12.5 on a 17x9 rim. I think you could run that size tire on our trucks.

I was going to run this size tire, but want something with a taller sidewall than a 35 profile tire, but no one make them, so I'll be running 275/50/17s in the near future.

Is the truck lowered? If so, how much?
