Ever see tail lights like these?
The reverse lens is incorporated into the reflective portion of the tail light. What year or model are these for?

I believe those are off of the 67-72 suburbans.

Most likely, I was going to say off a later model van.

Re: Ever see tail lights like these?
As mentioned, Suburban and Mexican production depending on the year / model .
Mexico was still using the 1964 Handi Van (G van chassis) basic taillight (no reverse lens) into the late 1980's when I was considering direct importing one . Like most Mexican domestic vehicles, they were very purpose built .

Re: Ever see tail lights like these?
This could make sense, however I still haven't seen this particular style tail light mounted on any vehicles, online or in person.

Re: Ever see tail lights like these?
Those are not off of American 67-72 Burbs or Panels. They are separate lights on ours.

Re: Ever see tail lights like these?
North American 67-72 Burbans look like this.
You might do a search there was a past thread on Brazilian trucks that may have the answer.

Here's a Chevrolet Veraneio – The Brazilian Suburban.
http://www.curbsideclassic.com/cc-gl...lian-suburban/ Definitely, not the same tail light. |

Re: Ever see tail lights like these?
Do they have a DOT number on them?

Re: Ever see tail lights like these?
I can't quite make out the number on the tail lights. I do not see a DOT # on them. These tail lights are not mine but I found them on ebay and thought they looked interesting for a custom truck to have something different.
Is is possible these tail lights are European and the clear portion is for an amber turn signal? I haven't seen this example on anything, yet. The listing claims they are for 67-72 Chevy trucks. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F123740229808https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F123740229808

Re: Ever see tail lights like these?
These after searching for the part number, it appears that these tail lights are for the early 70s era AMC Gremlin, not a 67-72 Chevy pickup.
